About Kris Ashley
Kris has worked in the book industry for twenty years, including eight years as an editor at HarperCollins Publishers, as well as experience at bookstores and literary agencies. She has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
Kris has also been a grantwriter for nonprofits for ten years, primarily for arts nonprofits and libraries. She's a member in good standing of the Grant Professionals Association, the American Library Association, and the Special Libraries Association.
Kris Ashley lives in Portland Oregon with her husband and a large black cat.
